the IDF's long-range operations deep in enemy territory. The command was originally formed in the 1980s,
but was scaled down and then planned again in the 2000s. This diagonal flag was seen at the Depth Corps'
outgoing commander (Major General Nimrod Aloni) succession ceremony at the IDF Headquarters in Tel Aviv on
Sept. 29, 2025.

image located by Esteban RiveraUnit 9900 (formerly Unit 9700) is in charge of VISINT, Visual Intelligence, which stands for
"intelligence obtained from optical collection means: visual
observations, observations with various devices from the ground and
air, and various photographic means" (source),
more precisely visual decoding, precise mapping and satellite
imagery. It was established in 1997 although it traces its recent
origins to the establishment of Unit 9700 (1976) and its lineage
through other Units (like the Nachshon Unit, 1976–2000, and even a map and photography service
established in March, 1948).

image located by Esteban RiveraNo known picture of its flag has been observed yet but it surely does have one for identification
purposes and it most likely follows the two observed patterns of the other two Units of the Aman (Unit
8200 [see below] and Unit 9900 [see above]) which is either a white background diagonally divided with two stripes,
the one on top being white and the bottom being green (i.e. Unit 8200) or a white horizontal background
with the logo in the middle (i.e. Unit 9900).
Unit 504 (Hebrew: 504 יחידה, Yehida chamesh me'ot varba) is an
Israeli Intelligence Corps Unit responsible for developing Human Intelligence (HUMINT). It was established
in June 1948 as Special Department (Informants) as part of the Intelligence Department, later renamed in
March 1949 as SM-10 (10 .ש.מ), an acronym for "Intelligence Services" (שירות מודיעין,
Shirot Mudi'in).

images located by Esteban RiveraUnit 8200 (Hebrew: 8200 יחידה, Yehida Shmoneh-Matayim) is an
Israeli Intelligence Corps Unit responsible for collecting signal intelligence (SIGINT) and code
decryption. It also appears in military publications as the Central Collection Unit of the Intelligence
Corps and is sometimes referred to as Israeli SIGINT National Unit (ISNU). It is part of the
Israeli Military Agency (Aman). It was established in 1952 as the 2nd Intelligence Service Unit,
later renamed 515th Intelligence Service Unit, although it traces its origins back to May 20, 1948 with
the establishment of the Tel Aviv Listening Squad.
