Local Council Eilabun is situated east to Bet Netofa Valley, 9
km north to Golani cross on road 65. A Local Council from 1973,
3,600 inh., most of them Christians. In my visit all I could spot
due to the wind was white flags with something green or yellow on
them, presumably the emblem. The municipal emblem was published
in the official gazette (Rashumot), 'Publications
Gazette' section (Yalkut HaPirsumim), YP 3839, 31
January 1991.

Eilabun kept the name of the ancient town of Eilbo. The
current village was founded in the 19th century by farmers from
nearby Deir Hanna. Next to it there
is the Eilabun Tunnel of the State Aqueduct.
