Description

Regional Council Zevulun unites 13 settlements on the eastern side of Zevulun Vulley (Haifa Bay) between the Carmel mount sloops and Lower Galilee, in the region of the biblical Zevulun tribe. The Regional Council does not have an official flag. The flag used is the logo on a white field. The municipal emblem was published in the official gazette (Rashumot), YP 1090, 14 May 1964.

In my visit, I found out that the info was quite correct besides two things:
- The inscription is above the emblem
- The emblem is in three different shades of green.

Regional Council Zevulun was established in 1950 and govern 13 entietities (Kefar Hasidim A, Kefar Hasidim B, Kefar Bialik, Yagur, Ramat Yo'hanan, Usha, Kefar HaMaccabi, Sha'ar HaAmaqim, Nofit, Ibtin, Kha'waled, Kefar HaNoar HaDati (religious education institute) and Seminar Oranim (Teachers training institute), in total 5 Kibbutz's, 2 Moshav's, 2 Communities, 2 Bedouin villages and 2 Education institutes with 11,500 inh.
