Maccabi Tel-Aviv Basketball Club's flag is blue-yellow-blue (1:3:1) with the logo in the centre of the yellow field. Note that having the same name and colours and previously being the same club, Maccabi Tel-Aviv Football Club and Maccabi Tel-Aviv Basketball Club have nowadays different logos. However the most interesting flag is the homemade converted national flags with white replaced by yellow to match the team colours.

It is a flag created by the fans themselves to reflect the club colours, as well as their "club of the nation" desired (and some say actual) status. Such flags (blue on yellow) are also common in the matches of the football section of the club (along with other blue/yellow flags).

There is a photo of Maccabi Tel Aviv fans wave a very large (~50 m wide?) Israel national flag with yellow instead of white at the Euroleague's Final Four game against Skipper Bologna in Tel Aviv on 1 May 2004.
