The town emblem was adopted on Jun 1st 1964 by Notice No 32 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a blue town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized katakanaアA of Akkeshi. The circle symbolizes the town people’s reconciliation and collaboration, the triangle does the surge to the future and the three circles do the agriculture-forestry, the fishery and the trade-manufacture. The swirl represents Akkeshi Bay.

The town emblem was adopted on Nov 3rd 1963 but there is no flag law. The purple flag has a white town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized katakana ハマ Hama of Hamanaka. The circle symbolizes Hamanaka Bay, Biwase Bay and the town people’s concord and the triangle does the town’s unlimited development.

The city emblem was adopted in 1920 but there is no flag law. The blue flag has a white city emblem in the center. The five pointed star symbolizes the Polar Star and the circle inside does an armlet (Kushiro). It represents the city’s prosperity. According to the emblem law, the circle should not contact the star.

The town emblem was adopted on Sep 3rd 1959 but there is no flag law. The purple flag has a white town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a combination of four (Shi) stylized katakana ク Ku and a stylized katakana ロ Ro in a form of an ancient coin. It represents the wealthy town.

The flag of the town of Shibecha is maroon with mark. I found two colors of moon: green and gold.

The town emblem was adopted on Jun 1st 1968 but there is no flag law. The maroon flag has a yellowish green town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized hiragana し Shi of Shibecha. The yellowish green color stands for the rich earth. It represents a stretch of land, a creativity, the town people’s concord and an unlimited development.
They say the color of the emblem be a yellowish green. Please use the Japanese traditional color sample.

Shiranuka Town / 白糠町

The town emblem was adopted on Nov 11th 1950 but there is no flag law. The blue flag has a yellow town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized kanji 白 Shira and katakana ヌカ Nuka. The circle symbolizes peace and solidarity and the pentagon does the extension of the town’s five major industries.

The town emblem was adopted on Apr 1st 1961 but there is no flag law. The green flag has a white and a blue two color town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized katakana テ Te of Teshikaga. The upper chevron in the circle symbolizes Mt. Mashu, the lower part does a surge and the inner circle does Lake Mashu. The two circles represent harmony.
