Three flags

  • This mountain is a representative image of Mokpo City
  • It creates Mokpo citizens' sympathy of unity and development that brings pride and love of the city.

The Ship on the Bottom

  • This curve is simplified figure of a ship that sails around the world. As a city of tourism and the center of international trading, this curve includes hope for the unity of Mokpo City.
  • The shape of a ship moving forward is designed as a curve that harmonize the whole picture of the flag.
