The year of 1675 makes allusion to the foundation of the mission Jesús de Carichí.

At the top of the bordure appears the words "CARICHIC CHIHUAHUA", with the code 08 for the state to the left and 012 for the municipality to the right; these are codes used by INEGI for statistical purposes. Serving as the division for each section is a branch of alligator juniper.
