Flag

The flag of Nuevo Casas Grandes is white with the municipal coat of arms centered upon it, as seen in an image from 2014. However, I was unable to document use in recent administrations.

According to oem.com.mx: Architect Francisco Jaimes Acuña, as a public worker of the municipality, was tasked with creating a Nuevo Casas Grandes coat of arms during the administration of Salvador Bautista Vargas (1986-1989). Description according to Héraldica Municipal de Chihuahua:

The design is organized into three horizontal strips: in the upper center a sun is represented formed by houses in a circle and some of them reflected in a lagoon, this form a star of 5 points which represents being human and the thorny vegetation of the north of the country. In both sides of the sun, two locomotives, one of vapor and which remits the origin of the foundation of the town and the construction of the train station, and the other one of diesel to symbolize the advance of the community [just above this one the year 1923, the municipalization year], below each locomotive the symbol of movement between the Hispanic cultures, below this stripe the motto "Trabajo, Estudio y Lealtad" [Work, Study, Loyalty], in the central stripe the natural environment: The mountain range La Escondida, and the Valley in which an artificial lagoon for the cultivation of agriculture and over the blue sky, a sombrero characteristic of the north of the country, protector of the field. In the lower stripe, over a green field, the peach and apple, principal fruits of the region; to the center an ear of wheat and in the lower extremes, it alludes to the processing of wood.

It is good to note that the upper section is in the colors of the National Flag. The shield's border reads "CHIHUAHUA, MEXICO"; just above there is a triangle shaped area reading "NUEVO CASAS GRANDES", a more recent addition to the original design by Jaimes Acuña.
