Coat of arms

Shield Argent with base wavy of Azure and Argent, two triplets of corn cobs Or leaved Vert in fess, in chief two keys Gules crossed per saltire. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "SEGADÃES - ÁGUEDA".
Meaning:
The crossed keys are an attribute of St. Peter, the local patron saint.
