Shield Gules, a Paschal Lamb passant Argent nimbed Or and standing on a book Or, in chief two grapevines Or leaved Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "BASTUÇO - S. JOÃO".
Meaning:
The Paschal Lamb is an attribute of St. John the Baptist, the local patron saint.
