Coat of Arms

Shield Argent, issuant from base wavy of Argent and Azure a triplemount Vert, on chief a pine tree Vert fructed Or and eradicated Gules, flanked by two billets Sable. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "PARADA DE ESTER".
Meaning:
The base wavy is a representation of the Paiva River.

Presentation of Parada de Ester

Parada de Ester was one of the 11 communes of Castro Daire Municipality affected by the 2013 changes. It had 654 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 28,98 km².

Coat of Arms

Shield Azure an olive branch Argent fructed Or, on chief a pair of keys in saltire tied Argent, one key Or and one key Argent, on base a barrel Or with hoops Sable. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and short white scroll, in Bénard Guedes style, reading in black upper case serifed letters "ESTER".
Meaning:
The keys are an attribute of St. Peter, the local patron saint. The branch stands for oliviculture and the barrel for local coopers.
