Coat of arms

Shield Gules with base wavy of Argent and Azure, a lion rampant Or armed and tongued Sable holding a 5-point star Argent by his fore paws, in central chief a dove Argent, armed and tongued Gules and nimbed Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "DOMINGUIZO".
Meaning:
The dove is symbolizing the Holy Spirit probably being the local patron saint.
