Coat of arms

Shield Vert, a watermill's wheel Argent, flanked by two wheat ears Or crossed in base per saltire, in central chief a dolmen Argent. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "ALHADAS"
Meaning:
The dolmen is representing old age and archaeological troves in the area. The millwheel is representing economic activities in the town and industries. The wheat ears are representing agriculture and the quality of the local products.
