Coat of arms

Shield Argent with base wavy of Vert and Argent, a crescent recumbent Vert, charged with the so called "royal crown of Cedros" Or, in chief two cedars proper (= leafed Vert and stemmed Or). Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "CEDROS - HORTA".
Meaning:
The cedars (Port.: cedros) are canting.
