Coat of arms

Shield Gules with base wavy Azure fimbriated Argent, two rye ears Or crossed per saltire between a watermill wheel Argent in base and three surrounding grapevines Or leaved Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "S. PAIO - MELGAÇO".
