Shield Or, a fleur-de-lis Azure, a sheaf of three wheat ears Vert tied Gules, a pit-lamp Azure illuminated Argent and a branch of oak Vert, the whole ensemble ordered per cross. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "CORTE DO PINTO - MÉRTOLA".
Meaning:
The fleur-de-lis is an attribute of Our Lady of Conception, the local patron saint, the other charges are representing agriculture, mining and forestry.
