Shield Or, a pine tree eradicated Vert fruited of the same flanked by two windmill's wheels Sable rigged Azure, in chief a flaming sword fessy Gules hilted Sable, Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank)and white scroll with inscription in black initials "S. MIGUEL DO PINHEIRO".
Meaning:
Sword and pine tree (Port.: pinheiro) are canting, the former referring to St. Michael, the local patron saint. The millwheels are reminding to the most important business line, the production of flour, and to the cultural heritage.

It is a typical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a plain yellow field.

Shield Vert, a stork vigilant Proper on a bird's nest Or and flanked by two bunches of wheat ears Or, in central chief a pair of keys crossed per saltire, the bendy one Or and the sinister bendy one Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank)and white scroll with inscription in black initials "S.PEDRO DE SOLIS"
Meaning:
The crossed keys are an attribute of St. Peter, name giver of the commune.

The flag is yellow with centred arms. The stork in the arms alludes to the fact that the birds are breeding here in the spring. I never saw so many storks on one meadow as in this village.

Meaning:
The arrows are an attribute of St. Sebastian, name giver of the commune. The pushcart is a canting element.
