Shield Vert with base wavy of Argent and Azure, a royal crown Proper flanked by two trees eradicated Or fruited Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "REAL - PENALVA DO CASTELO".
Meaning:
"Real" means "royal", the royal crown thus is a canting element.
