Shield Azure, issuant from base wavy of Azure and Argent three peaks Or charged with a castle Gules. In chief a granary Argent with windows Gules. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "LINDOSO".

Lindoso Commune is one of the 17 communes of the Ponte da Barca municipality (q.v.); it had 427 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 46.5 km². Lindoso had been a town and seat of a municipality till the beginning of the 19th century.
