Coat of arms

Shield Azure a Latin cross Argent with holder of the same, chief Or charged with a cross patty Gules charged with a Greek cross Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "SANTA CRUZ - PRAIA DA VITÓRIA".
Meaning:
The Latin cross is canting, the name of the commune means "Holy Cross". The cross in chief is alluding to the Order of the Knights of Christ.
