    Shield Gules a garb Or in pale flanked by two trowels Argent, in chief a scallop Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "SANTIAGO - SEIA".
    Meaning:
    The scallop is a token of St. James the Elder, name giver and local patron saint of the commune.

    Presentation of Santiago

    Santiago is one of the 14 communes of Seia Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes. It had 1163 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 6,49 km².
