    Shield Azure a bee Or, flanked by two millstones Argent between two barrulets gemel wavy Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "COGULA".
    Meaning:
    The bee is token of the local beewax production, the millstones stand for the local archeological heritage and the wavy barrulets represent two local creeks, Moitas River and Freixo River.

    Presentation of Cogula

    Cogula is one of the 15 communes of Trancoso Municipality created by the merger during the 2013 changes. It had 168 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 4,37 km².
