Coat of arms

Shield Or, a bar wavy Argent, in chief within a nimbus Or a Paschal Lamb couchant Argent, in base an orange proper leafed Vert at dexter and a millstone Sable garnished Argent at sinister. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "RIBEIRA SECA - VILA FRANCA DO CAMPO".
The bar wavy is a canting lement. The Paschal Lamb is an attribute of St. John the Baptist, probably being the local patron saint.

Ribeira Seca Commune is one of the six communes of Vila Franca do Campo Municipality; it had 1106 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 5.5 km².
