It is a typical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a plain blue field.

Coat of Arms

Shield Argent three wheat ears Vert tied Gules in fan, in orle seven heraldic fountains, three on either flanch and one on central base point. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and short white scroll, in Bérnard Guedes style, with black inscription "ROSAIS".
Meaning:
The heraldic fountains are a representation of the Park of the Seven Fountains. The ears are symbolising the rich soil and the importance of agriculture.

Presentation of Rosais

Rosais is one of the six communes of Velas Municipality. It had 743 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 24,44 km².
