Out of Stockholm briefly in the early 1960s
operating a single vessel under Bengt Folke. The Collectors Corner cap
badge shows a diagonal quartered flag of white and red with overall a
blue "F".

This one looks remarkably similar to the one at

which is Höganäs Rederi AB.

Brown 1978 shows a horizontal triband of blue,
white and blue bearing a blue "C" on the white . This would
appear to relate to the company operated by Arne
E. Pettersson of Uddevalla from around 1950 to 1980. After this Lloyds
indicate that the company came under A.E. Mengwall of Uddelvalla and
is still operated by his successor, G. Mengwall, but going by
subsequent funnel markings the flag was not passed on.

The Landskrona company has been traced to at least
operating the "Excelsior" between 1921 and 1934 under the operation of
G.F. Persson. The Collectors Corner cap badge shows a yellow flag with
a blue cross paty.

A ferry service based Malmö in the 1960s and
70s, the Collectors Corner cap badge shows a white tapered swallowtail
with a blue target of 2 rings with a blue outlined triangular dart
piercing the centre. The badge does not
make clear the outline colour of the dart and I am going by a verbal
description of the funnel logo which appears to differ by not having
the dart striking at an angle.

with U.S. Navy 1961 [8] showing a blue
flag with a broad white horizontal band bearing a blue "C"
but in the Collectors Corner cap badges website there shows a white tapered swallowtail

Related to Targit Shipping (already on FOTW-ws) and TSA Tanker Shipping, the
rather smaller firm Chemveg AB is established at Göteborg, Sweden. See pp. 3 and
40 (last) of this pdf file:

Apparently this company operates only one ship, ‘Margita’ being a chemical
tanker able to transport vegetable oil and the like but also acids and
fertilizer. Not unimportant these days, the vessel has a double hull. Photos of
this ship abound on the ‘net but as no house flag turned up we will have to do,
once again, with the drawing appearing on above site.
Blue field, large yellow initial ‘M’ (without serifs, and somewhat stylized)
above two rows of white stylized waves - the letter surely representing the
tanker. Blue and yellow are the national colours.

This is one of several companies having ‘Clipper Line’ in the name, so today we’ll have a look at a nice and ultimately flag-related cup of theirs.
The logo consists of a shield featuring a crowned griffon's head and six-pointed star on a blue field. The line name appears below the shield, and the three tines of a trident appear above.
Company founded in 1946, merged in 1964 with the Incres company and stopped activities in 1973 (due to oil prices I understand).
Here is a page (in Swedish) showing the flag:
http://kommandobryggan.se/clipper/clipper.htm
i.e. the shield emblem, unrimmed, on a white field, both horizontal edges accompanied
by a couple of narrow blue stripes (making four in all, of which only the lowest
one is not interrupted by the emblem).

Einar A. Hansen invested into shipping after World War 2 through Rederi
A/B Clipper and A/B Allhem. The Collectors Corner website also shows cap
badge flags for Einar A. Hansen of, what appears to be, yellow with 2 narrow
horizontal blue bands near chief and base respectively and between them
the black letters and A/B Allhem with the badge appearing on blue field
with the latter being shown as darker than the blue of the shield. There
appears to have been a change of the white based flag towards the end with
Brown 1978 showing it with a yellow field.

Said by Josef Nüsse [5]
to be based Kullavik the table flag shows as blue with a yellow "M" above two white wavy lines.
The company has not been located and the "M"
on the flag suggests that the owner of the flag is somebody else who
is involved in the coastal tanker trade in some manner.

blue, bottom blue, separated by white space.

Cool Carriers was founded in 1984, and is owned by Unicool Ltd. Bermuda.
Unicool Ltd. was founded by Safmarine, South Africa (50%) and
Leif Høegh & Co., Oslo (49.8%).
Phil Nelson, 25 December 2005
The company was originally formed by the management of Salenrederierna
(after it dissolved in 1984) and had several ownership changes before
being acquired by Lauritzen at the end of 2000 and merged into Lauritzen
Cool A/B. The shape of the flag was in some doubt. I surveyed it quite
closely in 1986 and 1987 and was convinced that it was normal swallowtailed
flag and not tapered. Another 1986 report was for a normal rectangle
flag. In 1998 I took several photos, but at a distance, which seem to
confirm the fork in the flag and the emblem is clearly closer to the
hoist. Whether the flag is tapered is another matter. It certainly never
appeared so. On the Josef Nüsse site [5] there is a tapered version for
a table flag which is suggestive but not conclusive as table flags do
no always duplicate the "work" flags. Possibly all the sightings noted
have been mistaken as distinguishing such points from flapping flags,
sometimes at a distance, is not easy. However I am reasonably confident
from my 1998 photos that there is no taper on that particular flag.
This leads to another possibility in that, with the fleet being chartered,
flags may have been obtained from sundry suppliers with the flag form
not spelled out and unofficial variations may therefore have resulted.
