The flag changed again after a new state emblem was adopted in July 2025. The
current flag of the Ministry of Defense became dark green, on which the new
state emblem (golden eagle) was placed, and above and below it, the English and
Arabic names of the ministry were inscribed in yellow semicircle.

After adoption of new national symbols on 13 March 2025, the governmental
bodies, especially ministries started to create new emblems and flags. These
emblems were white disc charged with new state emblem (coat of arms), and their
English and Arabic names placed around it as a legend.
The new flag of
Ministry of Defense (وزارة الدفاع - Wizarat al-Difae) became white with the new
coat of arms placed on a white disc and its English and Arabic names were
written above and under it.

The flag of Minister of Defence is based on national flag, but Syrian state
emblem is placed between two green stars.
