The City

The city's history is as follows: "On the 27th day of September, 1847, Perrigrine Sessions, with his family, moved about nine miles north of the newly established Mormon settlement of Salt Lake City ( https://www.crwflags.com/fotw/flags/us-utslc.html ) and camped. He had traveled beyond the Hot Springs to find feed for his flocks and herds. Here he constructed a dugout with skins for a roof and wintered, he and his family being the sole occupants of the place until the spring of 1848. This dugout was located at approximately 250 North and 280 West. He was thus the founder of Utah's second settlement and the first white man to make a home in what we now know as Davis County ( https://www.crwflags.com/fotw/flags/us-ut-dv.html ). The place was first known as Sessions' Settlement, but with the ecclesiastical designation of North Canyon Ward, both titles being employed rather indiscriminately until 1855, when it was officially named Bountiful. A more fitting appellation could not have been chosen for what was even then called the garden spot of Utah." (by Charles R. Mabey).

The City Flag

Bountiful UT appears to have a flag, which can be seen in part in this 2017 photo on the town's Facebook page.:

The city's Community Manager provided a photo of the flag (https://www.facebook.com/216978108648146).

I've found more photos of the flag in an article from Feb 2017: https://www.fox13now.com/2017/02/28/bountiful-city-council-votes-to-cancel-plans-on-new-city-hall/ (image)

A different flag can be seen at https://ksltv.com and https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/. The second link is a render of a current project being built called "Bountiful Veterans Park" to be opened on Veteran's Day, November 11, 2020, to honor veterans from Bountiful, West Bountiful, Woods Cross, North Salt Lake and Centerville. It will honor veterans who served beginning with the War of 1812 up to and including current conflicts".
In the image attached one can see a flag (obverse) being horizontally displayed, white background, featuring the logo (https://www.bountifulutah.gov/file/content/image/logo.png) in the middle.

I've found more photos of this flag in an article from Jan 2014: http://itsabountifullife.blogspot.com (image). The flag does appear on city council meeting videos through 2019. A new city hall is being built (I think), and the flag is not shown in the temporary city council hall.
