Description of the flag

De Pere is a city in Brown County, Wisconsin and is a suburb of the city of Green Bay. The city traces its roots to the 1671 founding by French explorer Claude-Jean Allouez, who founded the St. Francis Xavier Mission at the last set of rapids on the Fox River before entering Lake Michigan. The site was known as Rapides Des Pères (Rapids of the Fathers), which led to the current name, De Pere.,_Wisconsin

The logo shows a silhouette of the Claude Allouez Bridge.
