About the city:
"Watertown is a city in Dodge and Jefferson Counties in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. Most of the city's population is in Jefferson County. Division Street, several blocks north of downtown, marks the county line. The population of Watertown was 21,598 at the 2000 census. The current flag of Watertown uses a logo that appeared in 2015. The flag uses the logo without the motto.

The flag of the City of Watertown, Wisconsin, is white with city logo on it. The logo is seal-like device with train in its center. In the circle around is written "CITY OF WATERTOWN / WISCONSIN". The train emblem has to do with the fact that the City issued some bonds when the City was first starting out in an effort to get people to live and build there.
