Berghaupten Coat of Arms

The shield is divided per pale. The golden (= yellow) dexter half is divided by a red fess. The sinister half is canting, displaying in a silver (= white) field a head on top of a green triplemount. Colour of face and hair is silver (= white), the bust is red while the hat is black.
Meaning:
The head on top of a mountain is known from seals since 1536. The dexter half displays the arms of the Lords of Geroldseck, who died out in 1634.

The current coat of arms was adopted in 1899.
